Whether you attend a group certification program or choose to study the system of Reiki in a private apprenticeship setting, students will first explore Reiki as a personal self-care and healing practice. It is from this place of unique, individual understanding that students may begin to progress through a nurturing and supportive apprenticeship path toward sharing the abundant gifts of Reiki with others professionally.
HOW ARE THE TEACHINGS OF REIKI ORGANIZED?
Level One: Shoden Self-Healing & Certification
The First Teaching
Over the course of Reiki Level I, students will explore the fundamental elements of the Japanese Reiki system, learn traditional Reiki meditations, hands-on healing techniques for use on self, and will receive the four necessary attunements/blessings for entrance into the classical Usui Reiki Ryoho lineage. Participants will develop a basic understanding of energetics and healing from a Japanese perspective and will learn valuable tools to establish (or add to) a home meditation and self-healing practice. Participants will also receive a certificate of completion and entrance into the Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing.
Level Two: Okuden Apprentice & Certification
The Inner Teachings
In this Okuden Level II Reiki Certification, students will deepen their connection and understanding of Mikao Usui’s fundamental teachings, which were received and practiced in our Reiki Level I Shoden experience. Symbols and mantras are introduced to further connect each student with Earth and Heaven Ki(energy), and embodiment of Heart Ki is deepened. Living in connection and alignment with the Source also deepens as we continue to expand our practices of Reiki for self-healing. Okuden training further supports hands-on healing for others, and facilitates an understanding of how to ethically practice Reiki at a professional level.
Level Three: Shinpiden MASTER Apprentice & Certification
The Mystery Teachings
Shinpiden/Level III Certification is available to those deeply devoted spiritual aspirants and healing professionals who have received Reiki Level I and Level II Certifications through Purna Devi and are ready to take their personal and professional practices to the next level. This master apprenticeship program may be done privately to meet the specific pace and needs of the individual or it may be achieved through a small group setting. In this Third Level Reiki program, students will receive one Shinpiden attunement and advanced practices to continue guiding the way to a deepened understanding of one’s Truest Self.
